Precept^® Competition Formula is our extra protein, extra fat formula for dogs that get exercised more than the normal house dog, but not for those experiencing a high level of training or long periods of work. This “in-between” Competition Formula has 26% protein that comes from chicken and red meat. The combined sources of meat balance the essential amino acid profile to help maintain a firm, muscular body. We use pure chicken fat, never poor quality “animal fat.” The carbohydrates come from whole grains, are easily digested because of our cooking method, and provide the extra boost for added energy needs. We use beet pulp and rice bran as a balanced complex carbohydrate source for colon health and ideal stool condition.

The Ester-C® brand of Vitamin C in Precept Competition Formula helps the immune system maintain its strength; it also helps active dogs recover mobility more efficiently. Our chelated minerals and lecithin help ensure the active dog gets the needed trace minerals and essential fatty acids crucial to balanced nutrition.
